Account and Data Deletion — Evolopia
Version 1 · Effective date: 2026-11-01
This page explains how to delete your account in the Evolopia app, Android package com.evolopia.app, what is deleted, and what is retained.
1) You have two options
| Option | Result | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Delete the account and its data | The account and its personal data are deleted; you can no longer sign in | Sections 2 to 6 |
| Delete only some data, keep the account | The account remains and only the selected items are erased | Section 7 |
2) Before you delete — three things that cannot be undone
- 🔴 Close your open stakes first. If you delete your account while a habit carries an active stake, the staked coins are lost. Exiting a stake early in the app returns 70% of it — or all of it while the stake's free-exit window is still open; the app shows the exact instant it closes.
- 🔴 Any remaining wallet coins are lost on deletion and are not converted to cash or refunded. A coin is in-app credit, not money.
- 🔴 Completed purchases are not reversed. Refund requests for Google Play or App Store purchases must be filed with that store; deleting your account is not a substitute.
3) How to request deletion
- In the app: open your profile, tap Edit profile, then Delete account, and confirm. This takes effect at once.
- Without the app: email support@evolopia.com from the email address of the Google account you sign in with, with the subject "Delete account". We reply to that address and act once you confirm, so nobody can delete someone else's account.
4) Timing
| Step | When |
|---|---|
| Request made in the app | The account is deactivated and every session is signed out immediately |
| Request made by email | Acknowledged within two business days; the account is deactivated once you confirm from that address |
| Cancellation window | 30 days from deactivation — section 6 |
| Deletion or anonymisation of data | Automatically, the day after the cancellation window closes |
5) What is deleted and what is retained
5-1) Deleted
- The link to your Google account (its identifier and email address) and your profile data: first name, last name, email, gender, birth year, occupation, education level
- Your profile picture, including the file stored in cloud storage
- Habits, descriptions, schedules and daily performance history
- Device notification tokens and sign-in session records
- Support tickets, messages and their attachments
- Notifications generated for you
5-2) Retained
| Data | Why | For how long |
|---|---|---|
| Financial records: the coin ledger and purchases | Accounting obligations and purchase-dispute resolution | one year |
| The record of the deletion and deactivation action itself | Evidence that your request was carried out | one year |
| Aggregated, anonymous statistics | Service-health measurement; not attributable to you | Indefinitely |
| Usage analytics and crash reports already sent to Google | They expire at Google under the retention periods in the privacy policy | Up to 14 months |
| Any data under a legal retention obligation | Legal requirement | Until the statutory period ends |
| Database backups | Disaster recovery | Until normal backup rotation |
Retained financial records are separated from your identity data and kept only to the extent needed for that purpose.
6) Cancelling a request
Sign in again with the same Google account within 30 days of deactivation and the account is reactivated. Once deletion has been executed, the data cannot be restored.
7) Deleting some data without deleting the account
| What | How |
|---|---|
| Profile picture | "Remove picture" on the app's profile screen — the file is genuinely deleted |
| Optional profile fields: email, gender, birth year, occupation, education | Leave them empty when editing your profile and save; saving a profile is a full replacement, so an empty field is cleared |
| One device's notifications | Remove that device from the notification list in the app |
| Setting a habit aside | "Delete habit" in the app. Note: this archives the habit; its history and performance records stay in your account and full erasure happens only through account deletion |
| The Google account you sign in with | It is the account's identifier, so it is removed only by deleting the account |
